About Andrea and Hannah

Cheshire Wellbeing CBT LTD

Andrea Gray

PGDip, PGCert, BSc (Hons), EMDR parts 1,2 & 3.

From an early age I have had a keen desire to work within the helping profession. After completing my degree in counselling & therapeutic studies I went on to a more focused study beginning my CBT journey. Starting from a person centred approach within my degree built a solid foundation in developing the therapeutic alliance which is key in the therapeutic setting. My love of CBT is that it facilitates change, brings understanding and develops self awareness. These skill sets are a fitting match and have supported my 14 years of working within the field of mental health.

I am passionate about enabling people to understand their emotional wellbeing and to live life well knowing their worth and value. It is important to me to strengthen others to face the challenges that life brings. I have a keen interest in helping others to manage excessive worry, to process past trauma and improve self esteem. I have experience of working in staff support settings, the voluntary sector & educational settings.

Hannah Lloyd

MSc, PGDip, PGCert, BA (Hons), EMDR parts 1,2, & 3.

I have been working in primary care mental health services since 2004. I was initially employed as a graduate mental health worker to deliver CBT based interventions to people struggling with mild to moderate mental health problems. In 2009 I completed a PGDip in CBT & began working as a CBT therapist in an NHS IAPT service. I completed a Masters in advanced practice of CBT in 2016. I enjoy working with clients to help them overcome problems that have a negative impact on their day to day lives. I incorporate mindfulness and compassionate approaches into my clinical work. I have a special interest in working with clients who are on the autism spectrum & adapting therapy to meet their needs. I have a strong belief in the importance of promoting emotional wellbeing & in taking steps to reduce the stigma associated with experiencing & talking about mental health problems.
